Have you been through something hard?

Maybe it’s trauma. Maybe it’s pain from your culture, society, your family, your past, or a relationship that really mattered to you. Maybe someone you love hurt you. Or maybe you’re just exhausted and wondering if your relationship is worth fighting for anymore.

If that’s you - I get it. And you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Client Focus:

  • Engaged Couples
  • Married, dating, or long-term Couples
  • Individual Adults
  • Teens (12+)

Issues:

  • Trauma
  • depression
  • anxiety
  • postpartum depression
  • perimenopausal challenges
  • relationship struggles

Types of Therapy:

For trauma, I use EMDR to help your brain process what’s been stuck.

For couples, I use the Gottman Method and other relationship-focused approaches to help you:

  • communicate better
  • rebuild trust
  • work through conflict
  • feel close again

Whether I’m working with you individually or as a couple, my goal is simple:

To create a safe space where you feel heard, understood, and supported - and where real change starts.

Training and Experience:

I am a compassionate and sympathetic Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master of Arts in Theology, and also a Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychotherapy. I care deeply about helping individuals, couples, and families build stronger, healthier relationships.

Using evidence-based tools, sessions are approached with kindness, care, and an awareness of how culture and life experiences shape each person.

Fluent in both Arabic and English, with a special heart for immigrant and diverse communities. As someone who immigrated and grew up in a Christian faith background, I understand the importance of family, resilience, and cultural values. Those experiences help me connect with people from many different walks of life.

At the core of my work is this belief: Healthy relationships are the foundation of wellbeing. When our relationships heal, so do we.

More than just my work:

I’ve been married for 20 years and am a mom of four — including teenagers. Life at home is full and real.

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me gardening or spending time with my family.
